Great Wood. Wonky Sizes. Better Prices.
Limited batch – when it’s gone, it’s gone. 🔥
Wonky Wood is made up of limited quantities of perfectly good hardwood in non-standard sizes. Once a particular size sells out, we can't guarantee it'll be back.
Meet Wonky Wood — our more affordable range of kiln-dried hardwood logs that don't quite fit the standard mould.
Some are shorter. Some are longer. But they're still the same quality UK-grown hardwood, kiln-dried to under 15% moisture and ready to keep your fire burning.
By finding a home for perfectly good logs that don't fit our standard range, we can reduce waste and offer quality kiln-dried firewood at a lower price.
Why Choose Wonky Wood?
- More Affordable Firewood: Quality UK-grown hardwood at a lower price
- Under 15% Moisture: Ultra-dry for a cleaner, hotter and more efficient burn
- 100% UK Grown: Responsibly sourced British hardwood
- Ready to Burn Certified: Defra Woodsure certified for cleaner burning

- 30kg Boxes: Generous boxes of kiln-dried logs delivered straight to your door
Choose Your Size
15cm Short Oak Logs – Compact kiln-dried oak logs ideal for small wood burners, compact stoves, narrowboats, pizza ovens and fire pits. A great option when standard 25cm logs are simply too long.
40cm Long Oak Logs – Longer kiln-dried oak logs for larger wood burners, open fires, fire pits and outdoor fires where a more substantial log is a better fit.
Both are made from quality UK-grown oak and offer the slow, steady, long-lasting burn that makes oak such a popular firewood.
Same Quality. Different Size.
Wonky Wood is cheaper because of its non-standard sizing, not because we've compromised on the quality of the firewood.
You still get properly kiln-dried hardwood with a moisture content below 15%, ready to produce dependable heat with less smoke and soot than wetter firewood.
It's simply great firewood at a smaller price.
Delivered with Care
Wonky Wood is packed loose in 30kg recyclable cardboard boxes, without the smaller individual boxes used for our standard firewood range.
This means less packaging and better value, while still making it easy to have kiln-dried logs delivered directly to your door.
Every order is Ready to Burn Certified (Defra Woodsure, Cert No: WS7101/00001).
