Terms & Conditions

Thank you for visiting The Logsmith. By placing an order with the-logsmith.co.uk and entering into a contract, you agree to follow and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Definitions

  • Buyer: The person who buys or agrees to buy goods from the Seller.
  • Seller: The Logsmith.
  • Goods: The articles which the Buyer agrees to buy from the Seller.
  • Price: The price of the Goods, including VAT and carriage.
  • Conditions: The terms and conditions of sale as set out in this document and any special terms agreed in writing by the Seller.

General Conditions

  • These conditions form the basis of the contract between the Seller and the Buyer in relation to the sale of Goods, excluding all other terms (including the Buyer’s own purchase conditions).
  • These Conditions represent the whole agreement between the Seller and the Buyer and supersede any previous terms.

Price

  • The Price shall be as quoted on the Seller’s confirmation of order.
  • Prices include 5% VAT for domestic users. Business customers may apply the reduced rate if they meet legal requirements. If not, the standard VAT rate applies.
  • Prices include standard delivery costs. Surcharged postcodes should be checked with our Customer Service Team.

Payment

  • Payment is accepted by credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Klarna.
  • The Seller does not accept cheques or banker’s drafts.
  • Bank transfer payments may be arranged by prior agreement.
  • Goods will only be dispatched once cleared funds are received.

Goods

  • The quantity and description of Goods shall be set out in the Seller’s confirmation of order.

Orders

  • An order is not accepted until the Goods are dispatched. The Seller reserves the right to decline any order at their discretion.

Delivery

  • The Seller delivers across the UK and aims to meet stated delivery times once payment is received, but times are not guaranteed.
  • Next Working Day Delivery: If not fulfilled on time, the Buyer will be refunded the difference between next-day and standard delivery costs.
  • The Seller is not liable for losses due to late or short delivery.
  • Deliveries are made to the address provided at checkout. PayPal orders will only ship to the registered PayPal address.
  • The Seller is not responsible for parcels lost due to incorrect addresses or failed delivery attempts. Redelivery charges may apply.
  • Deliveries require a signature; parcels cannot be left in a “safe place.”

Pre-Orders

  • Some items may be available for pre-order.
  • If included with other items, deliveries may be split to avoid delays.
  • If a supplier cannot fulfil a pre-order, the Seller may cancel and refund.
  • Buyers may cancel pre-orders by contacting contact@the-logsmith.co.uk with their order number.

Acceptance of Goods

  • Goods are deemed accepted 48 hours after delivery.
  • Buyers must inspect Goods within 48 hours and notify the Seller of defects in writing.
  • Once accepted (or deemed accepted), Goods cannot be rejected for not matching the contract.

Title & Risk

  • Risk passes to the Buyer upon delivery.
  • Title (ownership) remains with the Seller until payment in full is received.
  • Until title passes, the Buyer must store Goods clearly as the Seller’s property.
  • The Seller may reclaim Goods at any time before title passes.

Website & Content

  • The Seller reserves the right to edit or remove content, or withdraw products, at any time without liability.
  • Colours displayed online may vary depending on screen/monitor limitations.
